TI-34 and TI-30XS are both featuring the famous MultiView and MathPrint features developed by Texas Instruments. These two products are both excellent choices for budget-friendly, high-grade performance scientific calculator that can be utilized in most tests and exams. However, we, or at the least most of us, only need one and not two calculators to be used, right? Hence, the question arisen is, should we purchase TI-34 or TI-30XS?
Even though TI-34 and TI-30XS have distinctive colors and shapes, the button layouts and overall designs are all identical in some ways. Both products feature dual power sources (battery and solar cell), and the solar cell panel is visible at the top of the display screen in both TI-34 and TI-30XS. The display screen itself is capable of showing 4 lines simultaneously, each line up to 16 characters in length, once again both in TI-34 and TI-30XS. The MultiView feature of these products allows multiple calculations to be performed all together, and the MathPrint feature makes the expressions and symbols to be shown just like how they appear in textbooks for convenient reading.
TI-34 comes with a slightly higher price than TI-30XS due to some added extras. TI-34 covers all the functionalities of TI-30XS already, and offers some more, like a neat menu system through which you navigate to various functions and configure settings. TI-34 also has more sophisticated fraction features and allows pattern investigation through the previous entry function.
